Our Approach
Collaborative, community based theater is at the heart of what we do. We are inspired by the ideas of Augusto Boal’s Theater of the Oppressed and believe that it is a powerful tool for social change. We aim to empower communities to share their stories and challenge injustice.
In Bukavu, performers can harness a variety of drama techniques to bring stories to life by highlighting issues of conflict, displacement, and resilience. Storytelling not only raises awareness but also fosters collective action, giving voice to those often unheard and creating a space where change begins through performance.
